Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to stop us.
Mow & Meadow is a publishing site. We do not sell anything, we do not have accounts, and we collect as little as a site can while still knowing whether anyone is reading it. Last updated 3 September 2026.
What we collect

We do not collect names or emails except when you type them into the contact form. There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter list and no purchases on this site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It sets cookies and reports aggregate data about how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, and which buy links get clicked. We do not use it to identify individuals and we have no interest in doing so.
You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking analytics in your browser or an extension. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.
Affiliate links
Buy links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one you pass through a /go/ redirect on our domain, which adds our affiliate tag and sends you to the retailer. The retailer then sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy, and we have no access to and no control over that data.
We can see, in aggregate, that a buy link was clicked and which page it was on. We cannot see what you bought or who you are. Our affiliate disclosure explains the commercial side.
The contact form
What you type into the contact form is emailed to us and nowhere else. It is not stored in a database, not added to any list, and not shared with anyone. The form also carries a hidden anti-spam field and a timing check — neither collects anything about you, they simply detect automated submissions.
Cookies
- Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4, as described above.
- No advertising cookies are set by us. We run no ad network.
- No tracking pixels from social platforms.
- Retailer cookies may be set by Amazon after you follow a buy link, under Amazon's own policy.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. In practice the only personal data we hold is a contact form email you chose to send us, so a deletion request is straightforward.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information and have never done so, so there is no sale to opt out of.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
