We have not washed anything with this machine. What follows is every figure Sun Joe publishes about the SPX3000, the arithmetic that makes it comparable, and one discrepancy between the maker's specification and the listing you will buy from.

This is worth knowing beyond this one product. When you compare two washers and one quotes a max figure while the other quotes a rated one, you are not comparing like with like, and the label that tells you which is often in small print.

What the numbers convert to

Two thousand four hundred and thirty-six cleaning units is a middling figure, and that is the point of this machine: enough for a driveway, gentle enough for a car with the 40 degree tip, and with the detergent capacity to do the jobs that are really about soap.

What the evidence says in its favor

• Two removable 0.9 L detergent tanks. No other washer in our registry publishes a detergent capacity at all, and on siding that is the specification that decides the job.
• Five nozzles covering the full range, 0 through 40 degrees plus soap — see the nozzles guide.
• A published weight and published dimensions. Nobody else in this category does, and on a machine you carry round a house it matters.
• Total Stop System, which shuts the pump off when the trigger is released rather than letting it idle under pressure.
• Certified rated figures, which are the honest ones even though they look smaller than the max on the box.

What is genuinely against it

• A 20 ft hose, the shortest in our registry — 5 ft less than the Greenworks corded machine, which is one extra reposition per elevation on a house.
• A two-year warranty against three on the Greenworks GPW1800.
• No published maximum inlet water temperature, which Greenworks publishes as 104 F.
• No PWMA certification published. Sun Joe calls its figures certified rated; Greenworks names the certifying body.
• A 0 degree tip in the box. It has almost no safe use on a domestic surface and every reason to gouge one.

Where it sits against the other two

The SPX3000 wins exactly one row outright — detergent capacity — and it is the row that decides siding, vehicles and furniture. It loses on certification, on warranty length and on working radius. Whether that trade is right depends on which of your jobs are soap jobs and which are grit jobs.

Total Stop System, and what it is actually for

Sun Joe publishes a Total Stop System that shuts the pump off when the trigger is released. It sounds like a convenience feature and it is mostly a longevity one.

• A pump running against a closed trigger is doing work with nowhere to put it. That energy becomes heat in the pump head, which is the standard way a consumer washer shortens its own life while you reposition a ladder.
• It also changes the noise pattern, because the motor is silent between trigger pulls rather than cycling.
• What Sun Joe does not publish is a duty cycle, a maximum continuous run time or a thermal cut-out spec, so how much this protects the machine is not quantified.

How it performs by surface, on the published figures

The pattern is that this machine is a generalist. It is not the best choice for any single surface in our registry — concrete wants more and pavers want less — and it is the only one that is defensible on all five.

Who should buy it

Buy it as a general-purpose household washer, and especially if detergent work — siding, vehicles, garden furniture — is a real part of why you want one. Skip it if your job is concrete and only concrete, where more cleaning units do more work, or if you need the cordless freedom of the 60V machine. The verdict, in one paragraph

A capable generalist with one genuinely unique specification — two removable 0.9 liter detergent tanks, which no other washer in our registry publishes — and one genuinely useful disclosure habit, in quoting certified rated figures rather than an unloaded peak. It is beaten on certification, warranty length and reach by a gentler machine, and on raw output by a cordless one.

Buy it if soap jobs are a real part of why you want a pressure washer. Buy something else if your list is concrete, or if you need to work away from an outlet.

What we cannot tell you

We have not used this washer. Sun Joe publishes no maximum inlet water temperature, no pump type, no noise rating and no duty-cycle guidance, and we cannot tell you how the TSS behaves over years or how the plastic quick-connects hold up. The 2030 against 2500 PSI difference is a difference in what is being measured; we have not measured either.
