On a quarter-acre lot any of these blowers is fine. On an acre with real leaf fall, the airflow specs stop mattering and one number decides everything: how many watt-hours you can carry, and how fast the tool spends them.
The constraint, quantified
A 5.5x spread between settings on the same tool. Which means the honest answer to "how many batteries do I need" is another question: how much of your work genuinely needs high output? For most leaf clearing on open ground, the answer is far less than people run.

Read that table carefully, because the raw runtimes flatter whichever tool happens to be quoted with the biggest pack. The fair comparison is per watt-hour.
Notes on the picks
Why the backpack wins here and lost the main roundup
On the general roundup the LB6000 ranks last: least airflow, lowest air speed, most weight. On a large property those become the wrong criteria. 180 published minutes on low, carried on a harness with a waist belt, is a tool you can work with for an afternoon — and an afternoon is what an acre of leaf fall takes.
What the harness does not buy you is efficiency: about 18.3Wh per turbo minute against the handheld's 18.7. The full comparison is on the backpack page.
Ryobi is the two-pack answer
Shipping with two 4Ah packs (320Wh total) and publishing 120 minutes on low means a large-yard session without buying anything extra. The 57 dB figure is a genuine bonus on a property where you may be running the tool for an hour within earshot of neighbors.
The LB7650 is the efficient handheld
1.9Wh per minute on low is the most efficient published figure here, and 4.6 lb bare is the lightest. If your large-yard work is intermittent rather than a single long push — a bit each weekend through the fall — this beats a backpack you have to strap on each time.
Why the Greenworks does not suit a big property
A 2.5Ah (200Wh) pack and 3.3Wh per minute on low give roughly an hour of light work, and there is no published high or turbo runtime to plan around. It is a strong tool on airflow-per-pound and a poor fit for sustained sessions. Buy it for a small lot, or buy it with a much larger pack.
Two packs beats a bigger blower
Practical version: if you already own a mower on the same platform, its large pack is the best blower battery you will ever buy, and it is already in your shed. That is the compounding return on staying on one platform — the full ten-year model is in the cost calculator.
